Recently, an online lecture on the “1+2” Masters Program offered by KUST and Clausthal University of Technology of Germany (TU Clausthal) was jointly held by the Division of International Cooperation, Graduate School, Faculty of Material Science and Engineering, Faculty of Land Resources Engineering, Faculty of Information Engineering and Automation,Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering, Faculty of Aeronautics and City College. This online lecture was attended by 311 students from 9 colleges of KUST.
At the lecture, the attending students raised manyquestions about the program, and Ms. CHEN Meizhifrom the Division of International Cooperation and Mr. LIU Jinkun from the Faculty of Material Science and Engineering gave detailed answers to these questions.
TU Clausthal, founded in 1775, is a public university and one of the renowned technology universities in Germany. Up to now, 34 students of KUST have participated in this “1+2” Masters Program. Among them, CHEN Qianjun from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics has applied for a fullscholarship from the China Scholarship Council to pursue his doctoral degree at TU Clausthal.
KUST will hold an interview next week to select a group of outstanding students to pursue master’s or doctoraldegrees at TU Clausthal.
