On July 10th, the School of International Education of KUST launched the 2023 Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students from the Faculty of Chinese Language of the Foreign Trade University (FYU) of Vietnam. This 20-day summer camp program provides the 16 Vietnamese teachers and students with a series of Chinese language and culture courses as well as a diverse range of activities, including experiencing traditional Chinese folk culture, interacting with KUST’s students, taking on-campus and off-campus tours. Through these courses and activities, the participants will acquire a deeper understanding of the Chinese language and Chinese traditional culture, and gain authentic experience of the development and changes of China.

China and Vietnam, being geographically close and culturally interconnected, have fostered extensive people-to-people exchanges over the years. The Summer Camp serves as a valuable interactive platform, enabling teachers and students from both countries to learn from one another and develop a mutual understanding. Moreover, it will further promote the educational and cultural cooperation and exchanges between the two universities.

In the future, KUST will continue to promote international exchanges and cooperation in education. It will strengthen the cooperation and exchanges among young students from different countries, help them enhance their international understanding and cross-cultural communication skills, facilitate their mutual learning, and promote their friendship. Through these efforts, KUST hopes the young generation can contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
