On June 12th, a 16-member delegation from the ‘Colorful Yunnan’ Youth Group of the Singapore Business China Youth Chapter (BCYC) visited KUST. Heads and teachers from the Division of International Cooperation and the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering attended the meeting.

On behalf of KUST, the head of the Division of International Cooperation extended a warm welcome to the delegation and expressed the hope that both parties will strengthen their communication and actively explore new avenues for cooperation, thereby further realizing complementary advantages and win-win development. Meanwhile, the head of the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering gave a brief overview of the soil laboratory facilities to the delegation. Afterwards, the delegation paid a visit to the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering, where both sides discussed the students’ internship in Singapore in the future.
Founded by Singapore's Founding Prime Minister, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, in 2007, the Business China has cultivated a large number of core bilingual and bicultural young talents and is committed to promoting bilateral business exchanges. Most members of this delegation hail from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), or have graduated from top universities in China. Notably, several teachers and students who participated in last year’s exchange programme at NTU were among those attending this reception, guiding the delegation on a visit to the library and the Faculty of Civil Aviation and Aeronautics at KUST.
