On December 28th, KUST held the 10th New Year Gala at the International Students Apartments of Chenggong Campus. Nearly 300 students and teachers from 14 countries, including China, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Mali, Yemen, Sudan, Fiji, Kazakhstan and Mongolia, joined the partyat the activity site. International students, who stayed abroad, gave performances and sent new-year greetings through online videos. Teachers and students from home and abroad gathered in the "cloud" to celebrate New Year’s coming.

The New Year Gala is a campus culture brand of KUST, which has been held for nine consecutive years. Through the innovative way of online cultural performance competition and offline fun activities, the party has built a bridge for Chinese and foreign teachers and students to deepen friendship and promote exchange, showing their best spirit to welcome the New Year.
