Recently, the Division of International Cooperation and the Graduate School jointly held an onlinepromotional eventcalled "Explore the World and Visit Famous Schools: German Project Symposium" in Classroom 416 of the Public Teaching Building. Thestudent representatives sent from KUST toClausthal University of Technology in Germanywere invited to share their experiences of studying and communicating in Germany from different perspectives. More than 600 teachers and students joined the event.
Dr. Shen Peilun from the Faculty of Land Resources Engineering introduced the general German education system as well as exchange experiences in the academic camp atClausthal University of Technology in Germany. In particular, he shared what he saw and heard during the Chinese Cultural Exchange Week. Meanwhile, he put forward suggestions on how to overcome difficulties and problems such as those he encountered in his study and life. Dr. Wang Wenjun from the Faculty of Information Engineering and Automation proudly demonstrated YunlingTranslation software that was developed independently by Yunnan Key Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence, whichsolved the language problems he encountered in Germany. In the lecture, thepresenters sharedthe benefits and difficulties they encountered in language, life and study during theirtime studying abroad.
In the event, the teacher in charge of the Graduate School introduced the overseas exchange program for graduate students andthe related policiesofsubsidy and encouragement to study abroad. He alsoplayed videos aboutthe wonderful moments of the study camp atClausthal University of Technology in Germany. The teacherfrom theDivision of International Cooperation introduced the overall cooperation and exchange between KUST and German universities.
