The Division of International Cooperation (DIC) of KUST held an online briefing before the start of the “International Organization Intern Prep Camp.” The briefing was attended by 12 outstanding undergraduate and graduate students from the Faculty of Foreign Language and Culture, the Faculty of Art and Communication, the Faculty of Transportation Engineering, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, and the Faculty of Information Engineering and Automation.
The briefing elaborated on the program and gave a detailed analysis of how to get an internship in international organizations as well as how to be a qualified intern. Students are expected to seize the opportunity to have close communication with international organizations, communicate with teachers and other top-notch students, all while enhancing their cross-cultural communication ability alongside the ability to practice or work for international organizations.
This internship program is hosted by the Shanghai International Cultural Exchanges and is subsidized by the Shanghai Municipal Government and the different universities involved. During the program, experienced workers and researchers of international organizations will give enlightening reports. Students can visit many international organizations such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the Global Association of Central Counterparties, and the World Historical and Cultural Canal City Cooperation Organization.
