On May 19th, representatives from five universities in Wales, including Aberystwyth University, Bangor University, Swansea University, the University of South Wales, and Wrexham Glyndwr University, visited KUST to negotiate cooperation and exchanges. Representatives from the Wales Government Office, Chongqing, China, accompanied them. Representatives from KUST, including Yi Jianhong, vice president of KUST, and relevant responsible persons of the Division of International Cooperation, the Graduate School, the Faculty of Life Science and Technology, the Faculty of Modern Agricultural Engineering, the Faculty of Management and Economics, the Faculty of Art and Communication, and the City College, attended the meeting.

Yi Jianhong, on behalf of KUST, warmly welcomed the delegation from the five Welsh Universities and introduced general information about KUST. He believed the visit was an opportunity for KUST to promote international education under the current global situation. He hoped that both sides could further reach friendly cooperation.
Ma Qingyun, the Chief Representative of the Wales Government Office, Chongqing, briefly introduced the five universities.
The responsible persons from each participating department and faculty of KUST successively introduced the basic information, the international cooperation and exchanges, and the future cooperative intention. Representatives from the five universities introduced their respective strong disciplines in turn and preliminarily selected the cooperative partners based on the situation of the participating faculties. The two sides will further communicate with each other to promote substantive cooperation after the meeting.
