On May 19th, a delegation led by Dr. Samuel Herman Heikinen, vice president of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania (SRU), visited KUST and had an in-depth discussion about cooperation with Vice President Yi Jianhong and relevant responsible persons of the Division of International Cooperation and the Faculty of Science.
Yi Jianhong, on behalf of KUST, welcomed Samuel Herman Heikinen and his delegation, and introduced the general information of KUST, emphasizing the importance of international education cooperation and communication. He expressed KUST’s hope to cooperate and achieve a win-win outcome with world-class universities.
Samuel Herman Heikinen appreciated the opportunity to deepen his delegation’s understanding of KUST. He hoped to establish a partnership with KUST and promote student exchanges and scientific research cooperation between the two universities, especially in Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools.

SRU is a public university established in 1889, located in Slippery Rock Township, Pennsylvania, and is one of the largest universities in northern United States. SRU is comprised of four colleges (College of Health Professions, College of Engineering and Science, College of Business, College of Liberal Arts, College of Education) with more than 150 specialized, undergraduate and graduate programs.
