On April 11th, a delegation of 15 members led by Vice President Pensupar from Kasetsart University (KU) visited Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST). The delegation included heads of seven faculties at KU in environmental studies, humanities and social sciences, agriculture, management, and architecture. Vice President Yi Jianhong, along with relevant department and faculty representatives from KUST, participated in the discussion. Both sides had in-depth discussions regarding their respective professional fields and development directions.
Yi Jianhong extended a warm welcome to the KU delegation, and gave a detailed overview of KUST’s development, scientific research, and achievements in international exchanges. He hoped mutual development and friendship enhancement could be achieved during this visit. Pensupar conveyed great expectations for cooperation between the two universities and expressed gratitude for the warm reception from KUST. Members of the delegation shared the educational features and development directions of their respective faculties.
Some members of the delegation visited the Environment Wind Tunnel Laboratory of the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering, the Modern Agricultural Technology Greenhouse of the Faculty of Modern Agricultural Engineering, and the Yunnan Green Food Research Institute of the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering as well. They highly praised KUST’s scientific research abilities and achievements demonstrated in relevant fields.
